We are just now starting to see how branding is important in business. In the past, business cards were basically just a piece of paper with a list of phone numbers. Today, marketing through websites, social media, and even print ads are all ways to get your message out there. Voice over business cards are a very simple way to get your message across.

Voice-over banners work well for getting people to do something. But because they are so generic, they only work well if its something of value to them. For instance, the way I usually do voice-over banners is to have a slogan or a tagline on them, and then use the voice-over to explain what the slogan or tagline is about.

Here’s a great example of a voice-over banner that I created just for this website. I put the name of the website on the front of the banner, and I put a slogan that says, “I can help you with marketing, or you can take me to dinner.” Then at the bottom of the banner I had what I call “sizzle” lines.
