The fact is that the majority of our thoughts and actions are on autopilot. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing either. Our habits, routines, impulses, and reactions carry us through our lives so we don’t have to stop and think about it every time we wipe our ass or start a car.

The only thing stopping us from doing this is to get used to the fact that we are constantly on autopilot. Because when we’re not even aware of our own habits, routines, impulses, and reactions, then we no longer control them. Like a dog that has lost its leash and is jumping out of the sea. Though the whole process is an exercise in self-awareness.

The reason why a person with self-awareness is able to exercise a little meta-cognition and say, “Hmm… every time my sister calls me and asks for money, I end up drinking a lot of vodkas. That might not be a coincidence,” a person without self-awareness just hits the bottle and doesn’t look back.

Our own research shows that most people with self-awareness are also people who exercise a lot of self-awareness. So, when you think about it, it would make sense that the majority of people who exercise a lot of self-awareness are also people who exercise a lot of self-awareness.

In a society where we don’t think about the consequences of our actions, our lives become so fast that we don’t even notice them. That’s why the best way to avoid self-awareness is to live your life as fast as possible and keep your mental space between thoughts large.

What we see in Deathloop is a lot of people exercising self-awareness while trying to keep their minds small. I say this as someone who is always trying to self-monitor my mental state and I can tell you if I am mentally “self-aware” or not, it’s not going to happen. There are a ton of people in our world who are constantly working on their self-awareness, and they just don’t have the time, or the energy, to do it.

Most people spend so much time analyzing and analyzing and analyzing, they forget that there is also a big part of their mind that is busy thinking about other things. By the time they realize it, it’s too late and they’ve already lost their power, their ability to focus, and their will to continue.

The same applies to fitness in general. Its all systems go, right? Theres an app for that. Fitness is a good example of a system go, it makes sense that when it becomes a system go, everyone will want to get more fit. But then the system goes, and then everyone starts complaining about how unfit they are. Of course they complain because the system has gone, and it has left them with no other choice but to complain.

The fitness industry is trying to change things up by making more and more people fit, but the problem is that the system is so ingrained into our bodies that many of us don’t even realize we’re doing it. I’d go so far as to say that the best way to get fit is to get a second job.

I love this quote from one of the founders of the fitness industry. It sums it up perfectly: “It takes a good deal of self-awareness to stop thinking about how to get fit and start thinking about how to stay fit.
